Part 1 – It’s one of the toughest off road races in existence with a reputation for eating custom built machines alive. This is “King of the Hammers”, and if you’ve never heard of it before, then today’s your lucky day. This if off road hot-rodding at its finest. We’re talking homemade tube chassis, 600 hp V8’s, and custom suspensions so stout that they’re almost impossible to destroy. Is this a little out of the realm for /BIG MUSCLE? Hell yeah it is! These rigs look like they came out of a Mad Max movie, and they’re just as much a hot-rod as that old Chevelle or 1932 Ford that’s sitting in your garage.
Part 2 of our King of the Hammers special starts off with our heros John Webb and Cliff Behrens, as they head out through 160 miles of open desert, boulder ravines and rock walls. Sunday River Resort in Maine played host to eight professional Pro4 trucks ripping off berms, going off jumps and hitting speeds of up to 100 mph on Friday, January 10, 2014.
