Driver Bryce Menzies shows off their elaborate Desert and Short Course racing truck garage.
(Season 1, episode 9): Formula Drift Champion Chris Forsberg takes us on a tour of garages around the country, from professional outfits to grassroots backyard garages. This week Menzie Motorsports driver Bryce Menzies tours us around the Las Vegas shop for both the Desert and Short Course racing trucks. Bryce breaks down the process for building the off road racing trophy trucks from the ground up. We also check out the exhaustive post-race maintenance that these trucks require. Beyond the race trucks, Menzies Motorsports also runs a fleet of race prep and desert racing support trucks. This is a stellar outfit that can handle the challenge of tuning a suspension on trucks taking 100-foot jumps and blasting 130 mph through 4-foot whoops.
AJ Rockwell took a wild ride on the 2nd hill at the 4th event of the 2014 Southern Rock Racing Series. He got a little sideway and hammered down and tried to drive the buggy back down the hill and flipped over. Once they got it back on the wheels he hit the hill again and made it.
