The fastest four-wheeled All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) racers in America will make their return to the world-famous Glen Helen Raceway on March 8 for the opening round of the 2009 ITP Tires/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship Presented by Parts Unlimited.

The Glen Helen race will feature the top professional ATV riders in the country competing on a closed course featuring jumps, bumps, corners and the infamous Glen Helen hills.

Riders will compete on custom-built 450cc machines from top manufacturers such as Can-Am, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Polaris, Suzuki and Yamaha….  More info

Lake Arbutus was filled with the sound of motors on Sunday, and the dust certainly was flying at Russell Park.  Ice dust, that is.

About 630 people came out to Hatfield on Feb. 8 to watch and participate in the sixth-annual ATV and motorcycle ice races, put on through the Hatfield ATV Riders club. A moderate winter day with temperatures around the freezing mark provided an enjoyable opportunity for those who attended.

A famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb champion will be back on the mountain on July 19 for the 87th running of the nation’s second-oldest motor sport race.

Rhys Millen returns to Colorado Springs to defend his championships (2007-2008) in the thrilling Time Attack 2WD Class during the Race to the Clouds on the 14,000-foot peak. He set world record on the Peak last summer with his winning clocking of 12:31.06 in his 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP over the demanding 156 turns.

This summer, he will be introducing a modified 550-hp Hyundai Genesis Coupe to the crowds at the Peak….  More info
