In the final episode of Pool Seekers, Rick and the crew take a trip to Santa Cruz, California to hang out with BMX pioneer and legend Ron Wilkerson. Ron talks about his competition days, running his own contests, and touring the world with his band. The perfect example of what the heart of DIY means: “Whatever you seek to do, you can do it.”
Day eight. I said I’d be with the dudes for two weeks, but some family stuff came up and I need to make my way home early. So unfortunately, this will be the last video from the trip. Sorry dudes! But yeah, with Calvin having a broken hand, Ricany still recovering, and Ty taking a day off after getting heat stroke yesterday, it was Dak day. He and I headed out early to search out spots, hung poolside in peak heat, then went back to get shit done once it wasn’t boiling outside…
Hailed as one of the “Best Mountain Bike Events Ever”, we were excited to not only get involved in the TDS Enduro this year, but we also wanted to experience the event for ourselves. So we put together a small crew from the office and called up local athletes, Ryan Howard and Tyler McCaul to see if there was room in their busy schedule to race Enduro. R-Dog and T-MAC both jumped at the chance for a fun weekend of camping and racing and we headed up to Grass Valley, CA for the 2018 event.
