The confidence of youth had clearly returned as Shanaze Reade wheelied along the South Bank with the London Eye gazing at her tricks and wondering what she would do next.
A spot of mountain biking, as it happens. Prior to defending her world BMX title in Adelaide in July, Reade is heading to Fort William in Scotland to show the mountain mob exactly who’s boss. Victory in the 4 Cross World Cup in front of 20,000 spectators is her stated target.
