Windham, N.Y. (August 25, 2010) — For the first time since 2005, a UCI Mountain Bike World Cup is being held in the United States. It gets underway this weekend with the top off-road athletes from around the world gathering in Windham, NY for the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup finale. Among the top riders will be American standout Willow Koerber (Durango, Colo./Subaru-Trek), who is currently the third ranked female in the World Cup standings. ASA Entertainment brings its MegaRamp ASA Triples tour to Sacramento’s ARCO Arena on Saturday, August 28, for the third stop of the 2010 season. Freestyle BMX stars from the X Games will take on the challenge of the 195-foot long course, consisting of a 25-foot high drop-in ramp, two 25-foot wide jumps and a course-ending quarter-pipe, all while grabbing ‘big air’ to perform their flips, flairs, whips and spins for the event title.
