Following up his last video with 20 million views and counting, trials bike sensation Danny MacAskill has entered a new project – “Way Back Home”
In the film, Danny showcases what he’s been up to since his last project: “This is something I have been working on with Red Bull along my two friends Dave Sowerby and Mark Huskisson for the last few months. We travel from Edinburgh all the way back to my home village Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye riding all the most amazing spots I could find along the way!!”
Pietermartizburg, South Africa (July 31, 2010) – The Elite and Junior Championship Class competitions are the highlight of the UCI BMX World Championships and for what may have been the first time for the Americans, on Saturday it  was all about the ladies. Nineteen-year-old Alise Post (Saint Cloud, Minn./Redline Bicycles) earned the bronze medal in the elite women’s contest and Brooke Crain (Visalia, Calif./Clayborn-Monster Energy) just missed the junior women’s world title finishing second.Â
In the elite women’s final at the Royal Showgrounds in Pietermartizburg, South Africa, Great Britain’s Shanaze Reade earned her third BMX World Championship medal this time in the form of gold jumping out front from the gun in the afternoon’s final. The USA Cycling Professional Mountain Bike Gravity Tour (Pro GRT) wrapped up over the weekend with Bryn Atkinson (Ferndale, Wash./Transition Racing) and Jill Kintner (Seattle, Wash./Transition Racing) claiming the overall wins in the five-race series. The best of the best in gravity racing converged on the Whiteface Mountain Bike Park in Lake Placid, New York on Sunday for the final where Justin Leov (NZL) and Tracy Moseley (GBR/Trek World Racing) claimed the wins in the pro men’s and women’s contests.
