The Spanish cycling federation is seeking feedback from the UCI and WADA before ruling on Alberto Contador’s doping case, the national body’s president said Monday.
Contador faces a possible two-year ban and loss of last year’s Tour de France title after a positive drug test that the Spanish cyclist blamed on eating contaminated meat.

While Ken Martin and Matt Adams were traveling in Namibia, Africa, a couple years ago, two of their hosts appeared with a digital camera and a photo printer. The men were photographing churchgoers in their Sunday best and selling the pictures on the spot.

Right now, I’m halfway through a furious ride with Rob Roskopp, co-founder and owner of Santa Cruz Bicycles. I’m also trying to catch my breath. For the past hour, I’ve watched Rob kick up the back end of his Blur LT Carbon as he airs the rolling jumps that punctuate our singletrack loop.
He’s yawning – the price to be paid after a night out with Steve Peat – but his riding suggests he’s anything but tired. I get the impression Rob has an almost inexhaustible reserve of energy for all things bike. Not bad for a man 47 years young … more
