USA Cycling is pleased to announce its complete 2012 National Championship Calendar. Seventeen events in 13 states will present cyclists of all ages and skill levels with opportunities to race for national titles in all five disciplines of the sport. Pan American Championship BMX cycling kicks-off Friday (Oct. 21) at the CODE Saint Nicholas in Guadalajara. Team USA, ranked No. 2 in the UCI Nations ranking behind Australia for women and No. 3 behind France and Australia for men, will be represented by two riders in both the men’s and women’s event. The Pan American Games offers category 5 UCI points that count toward the nation ranking, which determines the number of start spots the U.S. earns for the 2012 Olympic Games.Â
