A large number of the world’s top BMX racers will gather in Abbotsford, BC Canada on 14 and 15 September for the first UCI BMX Supercross World Cup event ever held in Canada, the last event of this year’s Supercross World cup series and the first one leading up to Rio 2016, that only starts in 1422 days. The two-day event features the Time Trials and seeding runs on Friday the 14th and on Saturday 15th riders and fans will enjoy the action-packed BMX motos. This is the first UCI BMX Supercross World Cup ever held at the newly improved track at the Abbotsford BMX Club in Abbotsford, British Colombia. Uk Gravity Enduro organiser Steve Parr has announced he will not be running the event in 2013.

Shortly after the final round of the 2012 Gravity Enduro series this weekend at Dyfi Forest, race organiser Steve Parr has stated that he will not be running the series in 2013.

Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, Calif., is the sacred epicenter of modern mountain biking, a 2,572-foot peak overshadowing Mill Valley and Fairfax. Pioneers Gary Fisher, Charlie Kelly, Joe Breeze and Otis Guy not only plied their trade in the mid 1970s, modifying then constructing machined capable of going up the mountains as well as bombing down, they also spent thousands of hours in the saddle.

To celebrate that history, more than 200 riders participated in the first annual Mt. Tam Dirt Fondo in Marin County, Calif., on September 9, an event organized by and benefitting the Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC).
