Today sees the release of the first episode for 2014 of Trek World Racing Stories. In Episode 1.1, follow the team as they tackle the opening 2 rounds of the UCI World Cup in Pietermaritzburg (RSA) and Cairns (AUS), visit a local Australian school, and walk away with the team’s first podium for the year, also a first for Neko Mulally.

Recently, one of mountain biking’s original freeriders posted an Instagram photo of himself out for a ride. Now, normally this wouldn’t be a big deal – just another day in the office for a pro rider slightly past his prime trying to keep his sponsors happy with little pictures and long lists of hash tags. Except that he was on an electronically assisted mountain bike. Mind you, this is a rider who was once famous for riding the slipperiest, gnarliest trails around, back when most riders were still sporting spandex and rocking bar ends. Seeing him on an e-bike was like seeing Guy Martin puttering around on a Honda Goldwing trike, or Cedric Gracia sipping tea and knitting a sweater – it just didn’t seem right.
Now, I understand that maybe, just maybe, there’s a place in the world for e-bikes … More
A short film narrated by Dave Rasta, with cameo appearances by Harrison Roach and Soli Bailey, shows the current situation happening in Northern NSW with Coal Seam Gas companies trying to make their way into the area, which could be fatal for the ecosystem and the classic breaks if they are too step in.
With 700 riot police expected to head out on the 19th of May to break up the peaceful protest, this needs to be shared to provide awareness and save our waves!
