Round 2 of the 2015 4X ProTour took place at Fort William in Scotland. Yeti Racing UK rider Scott Beaumont was fresh off a 2nd place finish at round 1 and was looking to go one better in front of his home crowd in Fort William.
Tyler Fernengel – an up and coming BMX star – sessions the abandoned Silverdome in Pontiac, MI, making the desolate stadium his own playground. Fernengel, a native of Wyandotte, Michigan, just south of the Motor City, grew up going the best sports spectaculars at the stadium, and even raced Supercross there as a young boy. At 16, Fernengel turned pro after releasing several web edits detailing his remarkable skills as a street style BMX competitor.
While many of his teammates spend minutes or even dozens of minutes filming complicated ledge lines, Augie makes things easier (and also scarier) by sticking mostly to massive handrail tricks. Today we’re happy to help premiere his section from Stranger’s “No Hype” DVD which includes many such rails. Augie is quite simply the man and this section proves that within the first few clips.
