Marcelo Gutiérrez dodges power lines, walls, and street signs in the narrow back streets of Columbia and Slovakia during the intense competition of urban downhill mountain bike racing.
The team headed to the world’s biggest mountain bike festival, Crankworx, in beautiful Whistler, BC. The weather fired up for the festival’s arrival with heat reaching upwards of 38C/100F.
The team comes away with 3 podiums, with Anneke earning 2nd in both Pump Track and Dual Slalom and Jackson finishing 2nd in the Jr’s in A-line.
My good friend Kody Pollock have been working on this video for the past year and a half. It has been a wild ride, Security Guards, hundreds in the gas tank, countless flat tires, but all of that has been worth it because BMX is all about the fun and that is definitely something we were never short on.
