Dozens of skateboard enthusiasts and in-line skaters rolled over to New Tampa Community Park today, eager for an opportunity to practice their acid drops and alley-oops for free.

About 20 skateboarders, BMX bikers and in-line skaters showed up Friday for auditions to be performers at the park formerly known as Hard Rock Park.
Park officials said they did not have a number of how many skaters or bikers would be hired for the upcoming tourist season.
