Del Mar Skate Ranch was one of the most influential skate parks in the entire world, nurturing a group of skaters who made their mark in skate history and originated many of the tricks you see today. In part one you will see rare footage and photos of Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Kevin Staab, Christian Hosoi, Dave Swift, Grant Brittain and many more ripping in the early years of the park.
Behind every skate trick ever done, is a place or “spot” where it happened. Learn about these famous SPOTS that have influenced skateboarding just as much or more than the individuals who skated them.
Spotted gliding across the streets of Chicago in a zig-zag pattern are long wooden boards – two monstrous large wheels and riders in their early 20’s – whizzed past the pedestrian crosswalk. This is nothing unusual — longboarders are not new to the Windy City, but another group of these riders might surprise you.
Most Chicagoans have grown accustomed to the occasional flashed blur of wooden boards, the loud rattle of hard wheels colliding with the rough city streets, and avoiding near-on-collisions with those trying to cross the busy roads on these rolling decks.

After going home for a couple days this summer to Push their hometown’s. The Team kept it going and partnered up with local area shops and pushed a few of their favorite cities.
