Akira first came on the scene back in the late 90’s. He was born and raised in Japan but moved to New York City when he was 12. He started skating in NY and got hooked up on Zoo York through Harold Hunter. He also worked and rode for Supreme and eventually started his own brand After Midnight.
Akira is an OG and we are proud to have him represent Skate Sauce! For the welcome video we only planned to have 1 or 2 tricks but Akira came through with a cool little part. Check it out!
