NEW PORT RICHEY – More than 100 boats with a total value of over $2 million will be the centerpiece of the Cotee River Seafood Festival and Bright House Networks Boat Show on Friday through Sunday.
But that – and lots of seafood – is the just beginning of the increasingly popular late springtime festival in and around Sims Park.

The contest is focussing on inovative and creative surfing and will be all about the best move so surfers dont have to worry about the usual constrictive contest format. Last years winner Cain Kilcullan is competeting again this year and will be among the favourites again.

Costa Mesa, CA (April 10, 2009):Â The crew at MTV recently headed to the Aloha state to catch up with Rip Curl’s young stand out surfers Alex and Koa Smith, for a new edition of MTV Teen Cribs, set to air Saturday, April 11 between 2 & 4pm EST.
“It was a one-shot deal. We walked them through the house and the cameras followed us. We showed them the fridge, through the rooms and they seemed to take a liking to all of our animals,” Alex stated after the cameras were turned off. “It was a pretty fun gig. I hope everyone likes it.”Â
