This Saturday, the 9th April, the Milkshakes Womens Bodyboarding Association (WBA) will be holding an event at Whaley Beach, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Girls and ladies of all ages and abilities are encouraged to come along to the event. There’s awesome prizes to be won from WBA sponsors – Hive swimwear, Milkshakes bodyboards, Hooda custom designed Hoodies, and BSC Bodyboarders Surf Co.
And for some added fun, we have created a theme for this event, which is tight and bright! We are encouraging everyone to come along dressed in their tighest and brightest fluoro 80’s clothing and wetsuits!

It is with great delight that we are able to confirm the running of The Wedge Classic in 2009!
After many months of uncertainty and an ever increasing level of concern among riders that the event wouldn’t go ahead, The Wedge Classic is confirmed from the 5th to the 10th of July 2009.
The event will draw the top bodyboarders from around the country to the sleepy coastal town of Plettenberg bay for an all out assault on the jewel in the crown, The Wedge.

With the bodyboarding scene continually growing at phenomenal rates locally, nationally and internationally, IBA Australasia and Surfing Western Australia have agreed to change the dates for the upcoming EBB Pro to allow the best representation from Australian and international riders.
The original dates of the EBB Pro and final State Bodyboarding Round (August 31st – July 2nd) clashed with one of the biggest events on the international bodyboarding calendar, the Arica Chilean Challenge.
