Day one of competition was completed at an idyllic but isolated wave to the north of Yallingup, which severed up some fun and highly contestable left and right hand peaks. The small wave location lived up to its reputation and allowed for a highly enjoyable day of bodyboarding. Portuguese bodyboarders are going to hit the waters and the waves at night, in Praia da Baia, Espinho, Portugal.
The “Stars of the Waves” will be held at 00h30m, on 19th September, in one of the busiest days of the city of Espinho. Sunday will be a special religious date for all locals. The patroness – “Nossa Senhora da Ajuda” - will certainly bless the ocean for this amazing contest.

The countdown to the culmination of the Auto-Sleepers British Bodyboard Tour is well underway, with the final event on the 4 competition tour (the British Nationals) looming large on the horizon.
The Auto-Sleepers Nationals are scheduled for the 2-3 October at Porthtowan and feature the usual wealth of divisional competitions, with opportunities to compete from under 14 right through to the over 35s.
