The  38th annual Pipeline Bodysurfing Classic presented by Patagonia, Viper Fins,Solar Services Hawaii and other contributing sponsors, completed on February 19th 2011 (at 4:15 PM) on the North Shore of Oahu. The Conditions were 3 to 4 feet Northwest swell with wave faces averaging 8 feet.

Kim Feast has conquered the Drop-Knee trophy at 2011 IBA Pipeline Pro. The Western Australian bodyboarder from Perth has won his first ever Grand Slam final. Feast displayed incredible talent at the 4-6 feet backdoor Hawaiian waves. “I am so stoked. This is like a dream. To beat those guys in such good waves makes me even happier and I am not sure what to do from here”, said Feast.

Neymara Carvalho has conquered the 2011 Women’s Pipeline Pro. The Brazilian bodyboarder won the main Hawaiian title for the second time. Carvalho beated Eunate Aguirre, Stephanie Pettersen and Minami Hatekayama. The deciding moment occurred midway through the final when Pettersen eyed-up a Backdoor right hander, decided not to go and Carvalho pounced – the score was one of the highest in the clash.

Pipeline’s notorious Backdoor has revealed glimpses of its tubular best, with some high-scoring barrel rides going down on Day 2 of the opening 2011 IBA World Tour event in Hawaii.

From March 19 to 26 Australia will see a huge contingent of kneeboard surfers converging at Phillip Island for the ISA 2011 World Kneeboard Titles. This is the first time that Phillip Island hosts this event. The Island has a long history of kneeboard surfing. The highly regarded “Phillip Island Kneeboard Classic” has been running for almost 30 years and still attracts the best kneelo’s from Australia.
