Such a fun swell at The Wedge. this was one of the last day before they finally stopped allowing people to come watch from the beach. Most people were following the social distancing rules but the few who were not ruined it for the rest. I personally decided to stay out of the water since it had just rained a bunch and with the possibility of corona I decided to shoot from land and stay away from people. The swell did not disappoint. Waves were pumping from sunrise to sunset. The crowds gathered and TMZ decided to write up an article about The Wedge and put an end to the beach being open 2 days later. Hope you Enjoy

How do you keep a bunch of stir-crazy people from rushing closed beaches during a heat-wave weekend amid a pandemic-induced lockdown? You tell them those beaches could be open on Monday, of course.
San Diego County officials just announced an amendment to a public health order that will allow cities within the county to open their beaches back up for surfing, swimming and other individual exercise activities (meaning no sitting, laying out, playing volleyball, etc.) effective Monday, April 27 at sunrise. However … More
