April 13, 2013 on Mt. Hood, 15 teams vied for the title “best snowboarders in the universe” by making synchronized 8′s down Timberline’s Bob Elmer. Jay Hergert and Erik Leon won the coveted title, but more importantly, a good time was had by all.

A fundraising event was held for Cole Kierdorf at the Riverside High School in Windsor, Ont. The 20-year-old Kierdorf, a Riverside grad and standout swimmer was injured recently snowboarding in Michigan. Riverside swim coach John Loncke who organized the event.
