HUNTSVILLE — Slopestyle Snowboarding has become so competitive that sometimes the push to go higher, faster and spin more even amazes the athletes pushing that envelope.

Peetu Piiroinen has rounded off an epic weekend by adding the Burton European Open halfpipe title to the slopestyle title he took on Friday. Paula Ligocka, a relatively unknown young rider from Poland won the women’s contest
