No matter where I am, I always wake up hungry, so my first thought is how am I gonna coax whoever I’m with into making me breakfast. Usually it’s some eggs and whatever else I can get my hands on. I don’t get time to eat during the day if I’m snowboarding, because if you have something heavy and then ride you just feel urgh, so on those days I’ll have a ton of food at breakfast then go without eating until dinner.

RENO, Nev.—Despite boasting an abundance of snow after a string of late-season storms, Sierra ski resorts are beginning to shut down for the season.
In the Lake Tahoe area, the Boreal, Diamond Peak and Homewood resorts plan to close on Sunday, while Alpine Meadows, Mt. Rose, Northstar-at-Tahoe and Sierra-at-Tahoe will follow suit April 18.

For the last 4 years, the Nikita Chickita Europe has been drawing rookie girls from across the continent to Serfaus for a relaxed contest that’s all about good vibes and throwing down with friends new and old as the season winds down. And this year was no different. The winners of the NC Scandinavia and NC Swiss Tour were both rewarded with golden tickets to Serfaus, and were joined by a cross-section of other chickitas who were looking forward to the mellow, easy-style vibe of the event.
