Northstar’s brand-new, 22-Foot Shaun White Superpipe will open for the season this weekend, with all-time first laps kicking off Saturday morning. EpicMix Photographers will be on-site to capture the event, and of course, the Superpipe will be open to all skiers and riders brave enough to to drop into its massive, masterpiece walls.

A lack of snow is keeping skiers and snowboarders away from Mammoth Mountain, Lake Tahoe and other winter sports hot spots. But the season is still young, and resort operators are optimistic that snow will come.
