Coloradans who love to ski and snowboard may soon have the opportunity to celebrate those sports all year long on the vehicles they drive.

A proposal at the State Capitol to create a “Ski Country USA” license plate passed out of the State Senate 35-0 on Monday and is expected to sail through the State House as well.

Andrew Bradley gazed down the beginner’s slope at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort through a mask of trepidation.
