Summer skiing and snowboarding in Mt, Hood, Oregon
For the typical winter sports enthusiast, summer’s a time to stow away the winter gear in a dark attic and fugetaboutit.
Out of sight, out of mind, right? Anything to resist the urge to go sking or riding.
But if you’re one of those who can’t help but to mind ride a barren slope, I offer hope for the summer time blues in the form of Mt. Hood — a winter sports nut’s off-season’s Eden.Skiers and Snowboarders alike make the scenic trek to Northern Oregon every year.You can, too — even if you’re on a budget. About six hundred dollars, round trip, was this snowboarder’s price tag, but whether my experience can be duplicated will depend on how many shred heads (or friends) you can get to go along… Details
