Eight of the top collegiate wakeboard teams from around the nation made their way out to beautiful Lake Las Vegas for the Collegiate Wakeboard Championships. Defending champs Chico State, along with other top teams from last year, Arizona State and South Florida, made their way back to try to make the title theirs. Other teams that made their way out were Collegiate Team of the year Florida State, along with University of Georgia, Sacramento State, Rollins College and Baylor. All of the teams came out with one main goal, to be named National Champions.

The 2013 Ulsan PWA World Cup will be an event that Alberto Menegatti (Starboard / Point-7) will remember forever as the Italian snagged his maiden PWA event victory after a stunning performance. Whilst Karin Jaggi (Patrik / Severne) produced a superb display to be crowned the Queen of Jinha beach, as she became the first woman since 2010 to prevent Valerie Arrighetti (Tabou / Gaastra / Mystic) from claiming the top spot. Jinha beach once again showed why South Korea is one of the most challenging spots on the tour, as varying conditions pushed the men and women to their limits to cap another brilliant event.
