A British team is on course to break one of the last great speed records. Piloting a yacht that looks like a futuristic windsurf on steroids, the team hopes to achieve the world sailing speed record in the next few weeks, with an average speed higher than 50.57 knots (the existing record).
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is gearing up for its annual regatta on Lake Pontchartrain, and one college student is making a splash by introducing a new sport to the event.
Kiteboarding is a sport that many have never even heard of, but for University of New Orleans senior Chris Stuckey, it’s his passion.
