From an early age Mike Douglass had always had an interest in extreme sports and started out riding and racing BMX. He developed a passion for all things related with extreme sports & motorsports and knew he wanted to be involved in the industry in some way.

He came up with the initial concept for ExtremeSponsors.com in 2000 when looking for a way to streamline the ‘sponsorship’ process. Ask any serious athlete what their goal is in their career and they will say ‘sponsorship’. At the time to find a sponsorship deal usually meant being in the right place at the right time, spending hours creating a rider CV and posting hundreds of letters out to potential sponsors.
