Australia’s premier wakeboard event was held on Saturday and Sunday, January 9th and 10th in Adelaide’s blistering heat wave of 43 degs celsius. Monster Energy Wake Wars is the longest running wakeboarding event in Australia at eight years young. This year, Chris Higgs from Ride on Events pushed this event to a new level with some of the riders calling it the biggest stand-alone wakeboard event in the world. With Mastercraft towing the event, it had the same boat as the PWT in the States, with the wake made by the world’s best wakeboard boat, the XStar.
