The BKSA kicked off the new season with a return to Redcar, Cleveland last weekend for round one of the British Kite Surfing Championships.

May 29, 2010 (Lake Forest, CA) – Today some of the best skateboarders in the world joined Ryan Sheckler at the etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest for the Sheckler Foundation’s first Skate for a Cause event that raised thousands of dollars for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. On July 7, he cut a rectangular shape of polyethylene foam and covered it with newspaper. The first bodyboard was born and history was made.

Phillip Soven rode exceptionally well this past weekend at the 51st Masters Wakeboard Tournament. Phillip faced Rusty Malinoski and brother Bob Soven in the Pro Mens Finals and was able to ride away to victory with an impressive run. Also in the final Danny Harf would not be able to put it together taking home forth. Bob Soven making his 3rd Pro Final this year would leave it to his brother to take home the win for the Soven family.Â
