Nuno Stru has conquered the Portuguese National Kitesurf Finals, in Guincho.
The best riders in Portugal congregated at Guincho beach in world class surfing conditions. Over three days they took on all conditions competing in conditions up to 40 knots with 2m+ waves.
A huge field of riders were supported by nearly as many sponsors, both from within and outside the industry; showing just what a great event can be put together when everyone co-operates with each other.

Former New Zealand Olympic champions, Hamish Carter and Barbara Kendall announced their positions as Athlete Role Models for the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.
Their new roles will see both Carter and Kendall attend the Youth Olympic Games to inspire and encourage the team of 58 promising New Zealand athletes.

Brazilian Wilhelm Schurmann and Californian Lance Erickson won their respective classes in the Highland Spring HIHO 2010 event. Schurmann, who took top honors in the 2008 event, won each leg of the 5-stage event. Erickson traded wins with fellow Californian racer Ernie Johnson but won the final race around Sandy Cay to take top honors.
