HILLSDALE — Wakeboard riders hailed from far and wide and abroad to compete in the second leg of the Monster Energy Wake Park Triple Crown held at KC Watersports on Saturday
Riders came from as far away as Israel, Canada, Florida and Texas to add to their wakeboard legend.
Israel’s Lior Sofer, who spent $2,000 to fly to the United States for the event, gave No. 1 ranked wakeboarder Tom Fooshee of Texas a run for his money in the first round of the three-stop tour.
Fooshee was on his home turf with the opening event in Texas.
