Andre Volant, a 70-year-old windsurfer, survived a five hour night swim, in the San Francisco Bay region.

The PWA’s finest females turned up the heat in a historic all-women’s slalom finale off the beautiful Cote d’Azur.
The first ever all-female PWA event proved to be a resounding success as a week of world-class competition was had by all in the world famous windsurfing town of Almanarre on the Mediterranean coast of France. The Tiree Wave Classic is now in its 24th year and remains the most impressive Wave event in the UK Calendar. Competitors from all over the UK will be battling against each other in the harshest conditions the UK has to offer, to win the ‘Tiree Wave Classic’ title.
