The 2010 Animal Windfest delivered the customary crowds of people and sunny skies but also saw a return to the scene of Steve Stubbs 3rd overall in the 2009 season and BKSA chief instructor Andy Gratwick but unlike many of the previous years the wind gods played the game.

The event was a joint effort between the three services, and travel company Ticket to Ride, aiming to raise at least £10,000 for the charity Help For Heroes using a Kitesurfing Challenge.
The Island of Alderney is just off the Cherbourg peninsular, and so was the perfect start point.
This is the first cross channel race of this kind, and was different in that many channel crossings are from the southeast coast of the uk to calais – only 17 miles or so. Alderney to Poole is approximately 70 miles.

The Street League Skateboarding Ontario, CA stop at the Citizen’s Bank Arena has come and gone and a few things can be taken in from this past weekend in the Inland Empire (IE). First of all, we have a good idea of which competitors will consistently make the seven man final. We’re also getting more evidence who’ll be a threat on which types of obstacles. And we now know for sure that the young guys of this league are for real, and are not intimated by their heroes, who are now their competition.

Pro wakeskating climbed to another level on Saturday, September 11, as the world’s top pro wakeskaters competed for the sport’s most coveted title at the 7th Annual Rockstar Energy Drink Byerly Toe Jam.
The prestige of the event was even higher this year, with a huge crowd and Livestream webcast on O’Neill’s Facebook page. Riders were also competing for the highest purse in the history of wakeskating at over $20,000. Contour Cameras stepped up this year, awarding each winner with a hands-free HD video camera and waterproof housing.
