All British windsurfers have been challenged to make history. The “Windsurfing 4 Cancer Research” wants to gather 1000 wind riders at midday, in the ocean and lakes of the United Kingdom, on May 1st 2011.

Blazej Ozog, Ken Nacor, Taner Aykurt, Kathryn Borgwardt, Aya Oshima and Sarah Demdoum were the grand winners of the KTA Thailand, held in Pran Buri, one of Asia’s top kitesurfing locations.
Fifty four kiteboaders from 20 countries took part in the 10 course races, 7 TT Class races, a full freestyle double eliminator and a Old Skool Expression session. Four days of 20-knot winds pumped the kiteboarding competition.

The RS:X and Techno National Championships wrapped up on Sunday after four days of light winds at the regatta hosted by Manly Sailing Club. Racing was possible on Thursday, Friday and Sunday however with light breeze throughout the entire event the board sailors had to work hard for their placings.
