The Sacramento State Wakeboard Club proved on Thursday that you actually do not need a large body of water in order to wakeboard on campus. With two pools of water, a high-powered winch and enthusiastic men willing to take off their shirts and show off their wakeboarding skills to the campus, water sports really can happen at Sac State.

The 2011 Défi Wind will showcase the Amateur Windsurfing Movie Festival, in Gruissan, France. The windsurfing competition attracts riders from all over the world to the beautiful French town and will also be a great spot for independent filmmakers.
