These guys ride what could be the most high-tech ice surfers in the world. Custom made of carbon and epoxy, the boards can easily tack and gybe, and routinely reach speeds of 2 to 3 times the wind velocity. Warm weather and a few inches of rain, followed by sub-zero temperatures, produced some of the best conditions in years.
