Ben Player has conquered the 2013 GoPro IBA Arica Chilean Challenge, in perfect 6-foot barreling waves at El Gringo, Chile.
The final heat of the 2013 Arica Chilean Challenge saw Player coming up against fellow Australian and defending champion Dave Winchester, who opened with a clean barrel, followed by a massive back flip into the flats and finishing up with an ARS on the dry section of the reef.

I though that it was time to re-visit one of the best freestyle locations that I have been in the last few years. Getting an invitation from Fabio to go and stay and ride for a few weeks, I took the opportunity and flew out of the UK.
Whilst I was there, we also did some advance kite clinic’s alongside Fabio Ingrosso and explored some of the hundreds of flat water spots that exist in that area of Sri Lanka. It is as great place to kite if you are looking for a freestyle playground with flat water and strong winds, and what an amazing country!
Where can you snowboard and ride your DH bike at the same time? The rock quarry, of course! Check out the lines when Brett Tippie, Jake Tippie and Graham Agassiz drop into the dirt!
