The first day of competition has had riders and spectators frothing. Super clean 3-4ft perfect beaches A-frames and barrels are seeing competitors push their tech limits and with good speed from the drops there have been some stinging bottom turns to position ready for the next move. The level of tech has been exceptional and with riders like Dave Winchester getting a 9.43, everyone has had to lift their game and get their race face on.
