Munich Blade Night is not an evening when the rivalry between two teenage gangs of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds duke it out for Berlin territory. It’s a series of evenings when thousands of inline skaters follow a designated route side-by-side through the diverse neighborhoods of Munich, Germany. The event started in 1999 and has taken place every summer since with the highest average participation around 11,000 skaters.
