MAT MLADIN romped to another clean sweep in the AMA Superbikes at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia at the weekend.

Mladin led all the laps in both legs to take his brace of wins, which means the six-time AMA Superbike Champion has now taken his 77th career AMA Superbike victory.

Team-mate Blake Young followed Mladin home for a second-place result for the Superbike rookie’s best result so far in the premier class. Rounding out the second all-Suzuki podium of the weekend was National Guard Jordan Suzuki’s Geoff May, thanks to his third-place finish…  Details

Tiny Buell Motorcycle Co. has made some noise on the national sport bike racing circuit, and the company hopes to leverage the success into sales.

Sunday, for the third time in two weeks, a Wisconsin-made Buell sport bike won a national road race. The victory came against Japanese and European competitors that have dominated the field for decades.

The victories were the first for an American motorcycle manufacturer, in this bike category, in 37 years, according to Buell, based in East Troy and owned by Harley-Davidson Inc.
