Motorcycle Off-road – Announcing The Stockton Mile Motorcycle Flat Track Race

The spectacle of motorcycle dirt track racing at over 120 mph returns to the West Coast on Saturday and Sunday, September 12th and 13th, 2009. The event is hosted by the Lodi Motorcycle Club and will be held at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton, California.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 10, 2009 — The Lodi Motorcycle Club is proud to announce the return of the Stockton Mile at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton, California after a 31 year hiatus. Notably, this race is the only mile dirt track race west of the Mississippi in 2009.

Motorcycle Off-road – Speedway motorcycle racing back on track in Vallejo

The Vallejo track began its first full season of brakeless, gearless, methanol-fueled motorcycle racing this past May 16 before having to shut down June 27 due to events at the adjacent Solano County Fairgrounds.

It resumed its schedule of Saturday night racing Aug. 1. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for ages 6-12, and free for ages 5 and younger. There is a $3 parking fee. Gates open at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30. The track regularly draws about 40 competitors and features …  Details
