 Motorcycle enthusiasts heading to Florida to enjoy Daytona Beach Bike Week will have a host of events to enjoy as it kicks off the two-wheeled calendar tomorrow.

Just one small area of the event will feature historic night racing, free demo rides and displays as well as charity parade laps, while the traveling 80 percent Vietnam Veterans Memorial highlight the activities during Daytona 200 Week By Honda Feb. 27 – March 7 at historic Daytona International Speedway.

triumphTriumph North America is accepting deposits for its new Thunderbird 1,600cc twin cruiser.

The latest bike to carry the name, the 2010 Triumph Thunderbird features a 1,600cc parallel twin engine, six-speed transmission and a 200mm rear tire. The Thunderbird is scheduled to arrive in North America in late June, but visitors to Bike Week in Daytona, Fla. will have a chance to see four prototypes on display at the Triumph Demo Truck.
