To My Fans and Supporters:

I have spent most of the last month in and out of my doctor’s office getting tests done, trying to figure out what is going on. Each weekend I head to the race excited to get out there and get some wins on my Monster Energy Kawasaki, ready to defend the number 1 plate that is on my bike, knowing that I have worked hard during the week, on and off the bike. The team and bike are prepped and ready on race day and then I’m unable to race like I normally can. Where is that fight that I normally have?

For most of this outdoor season I have been frustrated and questioning every part of my program, wondering why I am unable to race to my full potential. It’s tough knowing you’re better than what your performance and results show. It’s embarrassing riding with the #1 plate on and not battling at the front! Canard Goes Back-to-Back in the 250 Class

MILLVILLE, Minn. (July 17, 2010) – The second half of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship began on Saturday from one of the series’ most renowned facilities for the 28th running of the Rockstar Energy Spring Creek National at Spring Creek Motocross Park. Thousands of enthusiastic great plains motocross fans packed the hillsides as local hero Ryan Dungey, of nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., put his Rockstar/Makita Suzuki atop the 450 Class podium for the sixth straight race. GEICO Powersports Honda’s Trey Canard, of Shawnee, Okla., captured the win in the 250 Class.

There’s never been a better time to be a girl interested in pursuing a career in racing motorcycles. Five years ago there were no factory rides for the ladies, they were lucky to get a good support role on a team. Today, the factory teams are getting behind the WMA effort in a big way. The second in what will prove to be a long line of factory WMA riders is Sara Price.

After taking a number of amateur titles, plus Rookie of the Year in her freshman season as a pro, Kawasaki decided to throw her under the factory tent with the likes of Chad Reed. Her dramatic rise through the ranks is a testament to the growth of WMA racing and her dedication to the sport. We had a chance to catch up with young Price for a quick interview.
