Zach Osborne became the first British Motocross Champion from America this century when typical English rainfall flooded the Hawkstone Park circuit last Sunday and forced the final round of eight in the highly-competitive 2010 Maxxis series to be cancelled. The 20 year old was already on the cusp of sealing his first major professional honour with the Bike it Cosworth Yamaha team thanks to a 47 point advantage with just 75 points remaining.

Three weeks ago Osborne celebrated becoming the highest-placed American in the FIM Motocross World Championship since 2000 after finishing fourth in the fifteen Grands Prix of the MX2 category (250cc four-strokes) with three podium results. Kaven Benoît shines among Quebec riders by winning the MX2 class

Montréal, October 2, 2010 – In front of a highly-charged crowd at the Olympic Stadium, veteran American Yamaha rider Nick Wey from Michigan won the 33rd running of the Supermotocross Monster Energy presented by Coors Light and Parts Canada/Thor held Saturday night in Montréal. Two other American riders, Teddy Maier and Troy Adams, both on Kawasakis finished second and third. But the MX2 finale really got the crowd on its feet as Quebec KTM rider Kaven Benoît won in spectacular fashion.

The featured class of the show, the MX1 category, started the evening off with two qualifying heat races. In the first heat, American rider Nick Wey led his Kawasaki first to the finish line ahead of fellow countryman and 2009 Supermotocross winner Jason Thomas (Suzuki) and Josh Demuth on a BMW. Buttrick Takes the Win, Mullins the Title in Indiana Enduro

It was KTM North America’s young GNCC star Cory Buttrick who motored to the overall win on a cold, rainy Saturday in Indiana for the final round of the 2010 AMA/Rekluse National Enduro Series. After 73 miles and 6 test test sections, Buttrick edged out another GNCC regular – AmPro Yamaha’s Charlie Mullins – to take the win, but it was Mullins who had the last laugh as he walked away with the overall series title after winning 6 of 10 rounds  …  Details
