This year was the first time our amateur team competed at Loretta Lynn’s and we had a great time out there. It really was a new experience for all of us. This time last year, this entire program was just a dream in James’ head. Something that he talked about doing, but wasn’t sure exactly how to do it. Fast forward to today and it’s happening. With the help of good friends and the right business partners SEVEN exists and is growing. Thank you to Troy Lee for stepping up and dreaming with us a little bit! Thank you to everyone that’s put in time to make this thing come together. Thank you to our riders, Chase Bell, Max Markolf, Jalek Swoll, Will Markolf, Jace Owen, Ashton Hayes, and JR Reyes. You guys are just as awesome off the bike as they are on the bike. And a special THANK YOU to all of you; the fans of our sport. When I was growing up watching the races on TV, there was really only one race on: Unadilla. The old Carlsbad 500 USGP on ABC died after 1986, so MotoWorld’s annual half hour from the Unadilla 250 USGP was just about it. As such, being “King of Unadilla” for a year seemed to take on special meaning. Plus, as a GP that American riders actually competed in, the race made for a rare all-world showdown, especially cool back in the days before international riders started moving to the U.S. and racing here weekly.
