Travis Pastrana will return to motocross racing when he competes in the Red Bull Straight Rhythm event next month. The X Games star hasn’t raced motocross since winning Moto X Speed & Style at X Games L.A. in 2010.
Pastrana first teased the idea on Instagram two weeks ago, with a photo and video of a Suzuki RM-Z450 bike swapped out with a custom 500cc two-stroke engine and the note, “RMZilla has arrived. I see your 450 and raise you 500,” before confirming the news on Wednesday he’ll be competing on October 6.

With women’s pro racing on the edge of extinction, women put aside those frustrations and came out to Glen Helen Raceway from as far as Germany to celebrate 40 years of Women’s Motocross. The event featured former champions and current racers from the 1960’s to today for a little racing, autograph signing, and enjoying time with other women and fans that share the same passion.
