Meredith Miller is a former soccer player who has advanced degrees but has opted to spend more than a decade traveling the world pedaling her bicycle.

Miller, 36, could be riding in Belgium this week or she could be at home in Fort Collins, Colo., spending time with her husband and tending to her home and garden and the couple’s two dogs.

USA Cycling’s Development Program athletes were quite busy over the last week on the road, as well as on the BMX track.Riding for the National Development Program junior squad, Lawson Craddock (Houston, Texas/Hot Tubes) finished third in Sunday’s Junior Paris-Roubaix. USA Cycling also fielded U23 teams for both the Circuit des Ardennes International and the Tour of Flanders, and a women’s team for the Ronde van Drenthe World Cup in the Netherlands.
